Malpuesto 05

This is the most recent project of Gonzalo Antón who, after his success with Finca Villacreces, Viña Izadi and Vetus, has taken on the challenge of this organization, comprised of fifty qualified experts and caterers (associates of the company), in search of nothing short of excellence.
Malpuesto 05 is the first and finest testimony to that endeavor. In the nose and on the palate the wine demonstrates an enormous fruitiness with strength and impact: blueberries, forest, licorice and a woody foundation. Substantial and noble, with an apparent bitterness and sweet tannins… very balanced. It is lively and distinct.
100% tempranillo. Aged for 14 months in new French oak barrels. Bottled in March 2007.
