Abundant fruit and great aromatic complexity, with a succession of cherries, spices and toast, and a good balance of raw material and aging. On the palate it makes an elegant entry, followed by great structure in which the fruit stands out along with a bitterness that gives it immense character; with very polished tannins and acidity, and a persistent, compact and rounded finish.
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc. Barrel aged for 18 months. Bottled in May 2002.
