We have been saying it year after year, and the ’05 has succeeded once again in improving upon this thriving brand, a sure reflection of the rise of this winery.
Present more than ever is the quality of the raw material—the lineage of the grape. Aromatic and gustative fruitiness, delivered in quantity and quality, with frankness, personality, and charming character. The Muga barrel-making is evident, in this case producing toasted notes that accentuate its identity. Great sapid concentration, depth, and tannins; very well put together, with the mark of a great wine.
As always, made with 75% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuelo and 10% Graciano. Aged for 6 months in tanks, then in French oak barrels for 18 months, plus 6 more months in 16,000 liter oak casks. Bottled in May 2008. 50.000 bottles.
