The body and personality of this wine make it very appealing. Pronounced and persistent aromas with elements of red berries standing out, cranberries, completed with other notes, spiced, smoked and toasted, from the wood-barrel ageing process. Flavorful in the mouth with much body, yet elegant and harmonious at the same time. The elements of the fruit and ageing process are well integrated. The acidic, bitter and tannic qualities are very well balanced.

A varietal wine, made exclusively from tinta del país. Aged in French and American barrels for 16 months. Bottled at the beginning of summer 2003.

The most sophisticated and exquisite illustration from this legendary establishment, it stands out for the strong personality of wine that it expresses, its character and complexity; qualities that come together with a notable freshness. Aromas of citrus, apple and confitures, perhaps apricot or peach, very pleasant, somewhat seductive, without lacking the presence of nutty or toasted notes. The sweet, sour sensation that distinguishes the bouquet is reproduced in the mouth with acidity and maturity, not only from the fruit but also the long ageing process it undergoes, which urges you to keep drinking regardless of its undeniable strength and complexity.

Made from 64% pinot noir and 36% chardonnay, grapes coming exclusively from 8 Grands Crus. Aged for 6 years.

A powerful wine of which only 19,500 bottles and 25 magnum bottles of 6 liters are produced. The grapes, which all come from the same vineyard of Villabuena, speak of refined nobility: old vines with a low yield. The conscientious effort is complete through the entire production process: fermented in American oak barrels then aged in new French barrels for 18 months and bottled in September 2003. The elements of intense, lively and mature fruit engulf the mouth and are very integrated with the oak, proffering toasty allusions and hints of vanilla, cinnamon and coffee. The result on the palate is elegant, compact, dense and very personal, with an aftertaste of quality.

A refined wine, elegant and finished, with aromas of ripe fruit, even confit, intermingled with toasty, sweet and spicy notes. Similar characteristics are reproduced on the palate, in particular one notes the derivatives of the long ageing in wood that dominates the grape. Complex, yet easy.

Exclusively tempranillo. Aged for 30 months in Bordeaux barrels of American oak. Bottled in January 2003.
