This is a modern, easy wine that retains a classic bouquet. It strives for importance without trying to show overwhelming strength and structure. It tastes of many things, albeit little of each of them; it is eminently balanced, and its velvety quality stands out. Noticeable are very ripe berries, such as blackberries, as well as notes of minerals, licorice, of course wood—it spent 24 months in new Allier oak barrels—vanilla and clove. It also has subtle acidity, tannins, warmth… all in minute quantities. Full of retro-nasal aromatic sensations typical of wine, which vividly recall the winery and reproduce the motifs of its homeland.

Noble, profound and complex both in the nose and on the palate, expressing the intrinsic qualities of the grape and the oenological rigor. Bitter, acidic and tannic characteristics are expressed with subtlety. The wine is completed by the presence of the red fruit – blackberries and plums – in perfect integration with the wood element, allowing the purity of nature to shine through.

A legendary label which outdoes itself and pays tribute to the history of Spanish whites; it was the first great Spanish wine made with Chardonnay, and ever since its creation it has reaffirmed itself with characteristic brilliance—dimmed only exceptionally when nature makes life impossible for a winery that works angelically to make vines, knowledge and technique into life’s passion. A Milmanda is therefore always a Milmanda.

This Chardonnay, fermented and aged for 10 months in new Nevers oak barrels, distinguishes itself with potent, bold and long aromas of fruits and almonds. These are reproduced on the palate, where, in addition to the idiosyncrasy of the varietal, creamy, toasty and warm notes stand out, leaving evidence of careful aging which completes the main ingredient. Its intrinsic value goes far beyond simple economics. The bouquet releases striking aromas of ripe red berries, balanced and well matched, with refined, elegant roasted notes. In the mouth it proves itself to be full, flavorful, voluminous, growing, with persistence and personality, marked by distinct balsamic sensations.
