On the nose and the palate, emotional and restrained sensations follow each other without excess; one notes the presence of cherries, plums and blackcurrant, product of the fruit, which blend with notes derived from wood, such as vanilla and toast. Noble, with nuances, and entirely converting.

Varieties and percentages: 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 6.5% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec. Aging: between 16 and 18 months.

Barbaresco in its highest form. A wine that successfully marries elegance and sumptuousness, harmony and complexity, nobility and the ability to surprise. A balanced being that has everything, in which excellence dominates.

Deep, intense nose, with aromas of sweet wood, notes of vanilla, hazelnut and butter complemented notably by fruit, specifically raspberry and cherry. Mineral, warm flavor, also lush and filling with mild, unctuous tannins and an aftertaste that recalls the nose.

100% Nebbiolo from the Rabajà cru, Barbaresco region. Production: 38 hl per hectare. Mixed terrain: rich in clay, stone and sand. Average age of vines between 20 and 35 years. Vinification in steel for 7 days. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel. Aged 80% in new French oak barrels (Allier) with medium toast and 20% in 25hl oak casks for 18 months.

A small, passionate and honest winemaker, Enzo Boglietti, capable of conveying a message with substance. We have here a superb wine with immense character and elegance, as well as the charm of singularity, made from Nebbiolo grown in a miniscule vineyard with a minimal yield from which only 3,200 bottles are produced. Noticeable (and how!) is the presence of very ripe fruit (blackberries, blackcurrant, plums in preserves) that contribute to two aspects, sweetness and quality; to which we should add floral notes, such as violets, coffee and an unmistakable minerality that evokes earth. It saturates the palate with a mysterious, intellectual and sybaritic complexity, with the added value of a subtle and dignified bitterness; and it is certainly not devoid of tannins.

Aged in barrels for 30 months.

Elegant and intense; characteristics in perfect harmony. A wine meticulously produced, distinguished by its extraordinary fruitiness, revealing a painstaking selection of raw materials. Fruitiness in which an extremely select wood aging process is well integrated—toast well incorporated with subtlety, as well as cocoa. It has life, body, complexity, tannins…and, above all, it is impressively well-rounded. Hints of chocolate, licorice and minerals. Strength and a complete finish.

100% Tempranillo. Aged for 21 months in barrels: the first 12 in new American oak and the following 9 in new French oak barrels. Bottled January 3, 2004. 30,000 bottles.
