This is the most recent project of Gonzalo Antón who, after his success with Finca Villacreces, Viña Izadi and Vetus, has taken on the challenge of this organization comprised of fifty qualified experts and caterers, associates of the company, who are in search of nothing short of excellence.
A fruity, substantial wine. The selection of the grape and the idea of what to do with it are delightfully apparent: aromas of wild dark berries, boysenberries and forest fragrances over a balanced base of fine wood. In the mouth one notices an unmistakable bitterness, reminiscent of branches, alongside tannins and a hint of sweetness, all very well balanced. The result is fresh–refreshing–regardless of the impact of its other, more intense, qualities.
100% tempranillo. Aged for 18 months in new American and French barrels. Bottled in March 2007.
