A wine with distinct tones that give it personality and grace. Particularly earthy mineral notes predominate on the nose as well as on the palate. Also clearly present are bitter aromas evoking coffee that extend to the palate. And ever-present is the prevalence of ripe fruit enriched by fine woodiness, conveying purpose and know-how, raw materials, resources and technique. Elegant, intense, persistent, compact and perfectly focused around its fruity essence.
With five varieties typical of Médoc: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% divided between Petit Verdot and Malbec. Aged for 18 months in 30% new barrels.
