A refined wine, elegant and finished, with aromas of ripe fruit, even confit, intermingled with toasty, sweet and spicy notes. Similar characteristics are reproduced on the palate, in particular one notes the derivatives of the long ageing in wood that dominates the grape. Complex, yet easy.
Exclusively tempranillo. Aged for 30 months in Bordeaux barrels of American oak. Bottled in January 2003.
