Fruity, fresh aromas with hints of blackberries and plums, very forthright, intermingled with spicy notes that combine to create a complex, pleasant ensemble. The palate is refined, velvety and harmonious, with the fruit predominating above a woody base, it progresses wonderfully, building upwards until becoming sweet, acidic, bitter, tannic, all very balanced expressions. An easy, gratifying taste: exceptionally finished.
100% tempranillo. Aged in French and American barrels for 14 months. Bottled in April of 2002.
