A Saint-Émilion that is honest, unique and effective; it has an excellent quality-price ratio which, in the exaggerated world of wine, and especially this region, is very much appreciated. It embodies the undeniable character of the merlot – 75% – matched with other influences – 20% cabernet franc and 5% cabernet sauvignon – and fascinating undertones. The personality of the grape prevails, with a bitter tone that is impeccably expressed: coffee, toasty notes, in the mouth as well as in the bouquet, with licorice and other spices. Its integrity does not take away from a certain appealing freshness that makes it very drinkable. 46.000 bottles. Aged for 14 months in barrels: 30% new and 70% other.
