The body and personality of this wine make it very appealing. Pronounced and persistent aromas with elements of red berries standing out, cranberries, completed with other notes, spiced, smoked and toasted, from the wood-barrel ageing process. Flavorful in the mouth with much body, yet elegant and harmonious at the same time. The elements of the fruit and ageing process are well integrated. The acidic, bitter and tannic qualities are very well balanced.
A varietal wine, made exclusively from tinta del país. Aged in French and American barrels for 16 months. Bottled at the beginning of summer 2003.
