A different wine in the way it boasts well-defined organoleptic characteristics, with bitterness clearly standing out due to its elaboration and the ageing process in barrels. Bitter, very subtle, though sharp, unmistakable, with references of toasted notes, coffee and bitter almonds. It is a delicate wine for being a Bordeaux, though it retains the identity that distinguishes between the varieties and the zone.
60% merlot and 40% cabernet sauvignon. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, 30% new. Bottled in September of 2001.
