In keeping with the first vintage from 2001 they have managed to further improve thanks to the superb year and a developing erudition in concept and production. It has gone from being a designer wine to being a wine of high quality.
Incredible strength in aroma and flavor expressed with elegance and harmony. The fruit prevails, exultantly at that, demonstrating its ripeness, saturated with minerality, with toasted notes of almonds and a hint of wood. With time, its relationship with the palate improves, evolving… reconciling itself. It calls attention to the noble bitter flavor, reminiscent of almond, even turrón, thanks to its sweetness, demonstrating distinguished tannins at the same time. Full-bodied and meaty.
100% tempranillo variety from a vineyard of 15 hectares located in La Veguilla with a yield of 29 Hl./Ha. Fermented in French oak barrels or containers before proceeding to the malolactic ageing in new Bordeaux barrels, also of French oak. Aged for 24 months. Bottled in January 2007.
