PAGO DE CARRAOVEJAS.
This vineyard is among the finest in Spain, for which reason no one is surprised at its success. The wine we have here is the perfect testimony to the statement above–probably the best vintage they have produced to date. This is thanks to a certain spirit of betterment that the vineyard is devoted to, as well as the year, which was truly exceptional in its own right.
It has substance and enormous impact. Aromas of dark berries, almond, toasted notes and vanilla. The result on the palate is powerful and deep, elegant and balanced. Sweet, bitter and tannic sensations run across the palate, all expressed with subtlety and compensation. In short, noble, aristocratic… and perfectly finished.
100% tinta fina. Aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels. Bottled in May of 2006. 120,000 bottles.
