A truly singular Bordeaux with a great deal of personality, distinctive in its effect on the senses compared with other wines of the region currently being produced. It is remarkably substantial, rustic, rough, dense, full-bodied and meaty, with enormous character. Bitterness and tannins predominate the palate ensuring that it will sweeten with time, indicating that it has a bright future ahead. Green, herbaceous sensations of a forest, berries, spices, cacao, toasted notes… with nobility as a standard.
55% Cabernet sauvignon, 40% merlot and 5% cabernet franc. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. In the bottle since May 2006.
