An extraordinarily complex wine that first seduces, then drives the drinker wild—it establishes a transcendental dialogue with supremely complicated messages that one perceives but has difficulty deciphering. Very ripe red fruit, licorice, forest, balsamic, dried fruits, vanilla, leather…and wood are notably present. On the palate, some of these are reproduced; above all the fruit and the flavors from aging, well combined, as well as dryness and warmth. Deep, mature, velvety, extremely long and with a very particular character.
100% nebbiolo. Vineyard yield: 4,000 kilos per hectare. A portion of the wine was aged for two years in 30 and 35 hectoliter Slovenian and French oak casks, and another 12 months in 225 liter French oak barrels. 45,000 bottles.
