100% cabernet sauvignon of the Mas La Plana vineyard of 29 ha. Aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels of Trocáis and Nevers. Bottled in July 2003.

A playful wine that expresses dreamy, wild sensations in the bouquet and mouth. Floral aromas, possibly rose, that lead into the prevailing cherry fragrances, with prunes and orange preserve as well which bring about a sweet sensation, very pleasant and complex. The first impression on the palate is refined, ratifying the fragrances, implying the fruit and flower preserves, demonstrating minerality, meatiness, quality and fine tannins.

50% tempranillo and 50% cabernet sauvignon. Aged for 18 months in Allier French oak barrels Production: 30,000 bottles.

This wine ranks among the elite of the Rioja region. Fernando Chivite, from the Bordeaux school of thought and who I admire very much, knows how to enhance the refinement and substance of all his wines. Elegant, intense and complex. Aromas that incite poetry, a walk through the forest to connect with nature, stumbling across wild berries and flowers, then a visit to the winery with that characteristic bouquet and the nobility of the fine wood. One notices at once the acidity, bitterness, tannins, and quality… all wrapped in a velvet cloak.

95% Tempranillo and 5% Graciano. Aged for 18 months in new Allier oak barrels. Bottled in June 2006. 26.159 bottles of 75 cl, 3.007 magnums and 112 double magnums.

Intense fragrances and complex nuances abound. Aromas of toasted nuts prevail, like hazelnuts and almonds, which combine with very ripe or dried apricot, as well as sweet, creamy notes of freshly baked pastries. It is elegant, silky and flavorful in the mouth. The fruit is harmonized with the characteristics of the long ageing process. Fresh and lively, with a very balanced acidity and light bitterness. The bubbles are well integrated which gives it the creaminess expected of fine cavas.

30% Xarel.lo, 25% Macabeo, 20 % Parellada and 25% Chardonnay. This cava is aged for approximately 36 months.
