Mondoca is the most famous vineyard in Monforte de Alba. Its 1.13 ha, exclusively dedicated to nebbiolo, give around 3,500 bottles a year. The obvious classic personality of this wine contributes to its perfection. Elegance, harmony, moderation and nobility are the distinctive characteristics. The winery bouquet is surprising, discreet and sober. All its elements are subtle: fruit, wood, tannins, acidity, balsamic sensations… aristocrat expressions. 85% aged in 2,500-liter French oak jars and 15% matured in 225-liter barrels for 30 months.
