Bodegas Bilbaínas, S.A.
This wine has the merit of going down with ease and giving great satisfaction without excessive complication; it situates itself halfway between modernism and classicism by adopting a modern philosophy without breaking with the historic palate of the region. It is this balance of fruit and wood that sets it apart, with an admirable complexity. Aromas of blueberries, balsamics and spices, vanilla and cinnamon. Fine tannins, a hint of acidity, medium body.
Produced exclusively with Tempranillo. Aged 12 months in new Allier oak barrels. Bottled in May 2002.
