Delightful and famous Italian sauce generally used to flavor pasta. Made with basil, an herb not very common in transalpine cuisine, dominant in a very flavorful ensemble, enhanced by the Pecorino cheese and the nuts: cashews and walnuts, appropriate and marked flavors, as are the oils used: olive and sunflower.
Aromatic, succulent and very Mediterranean.
