A cabernet sauvignon of fine lineage and vineyard that ranks among the elite of Spanish wines year after year. This particular vintage calls to attention the powerful identification it has with flowers. Especially in the nose, although those sensations translate to the palate, the fruitiness reigns supreme, extraordinary, with references to wild dark berries, open meadows, licorice and a certain minerality. It personifies the countless wonders of the qualities that distinguish a fine cabernet sauvignon. Elegant, balanced and substantial. Full-bodied, but within its enormous identity, it is not a particularly intense wine with regard to its expression–quality beats out quantity in this respect.
100% cabernet sauvignon from the Mas La Plana vineyard of 29 ha. Aged for 18 months in Tronçais and Nevers oak barrels. Bottled in August 2005.

A fascinating nose, fruity and fresh, wild, with hints of strawberry, raspberry and blackberry, complemented by other smoked and toasted sensations from the wood-barrel ageing process. On the palate the wine expresses potency, elegance, substance and harmony, with an important structure. The fruit, the essence of the raw product, prevails over the secondary nuances derived from the barrel, enriching it with subtlety. Noble and compact.
