A Cabernet Sauvignon from a lineage and winery that year after year is among the elite of Spanish wines. In this millennium wine, what stands out powerfully is its strong floral identification. Above all in the nose, although these sensations do transfer to the palate, where fruitiness reigns—extraordinary, with notes of wild blackberries, countryside, as well as licorice and a hint of minerals. It quintessentially personifies the qualities that distinguish a great Cabernet Sauvignon. Elegant and harmonious, as well as substantive. With body, although within its immense identity it is not an especially expressive wine, stressing quality over quantity.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 18 months in new Trocais and Nevers oak barrels. Bottled in August 2006.
