A spectacular, impressive wine that continues to prove, year after year, its exceptional level – it is among the most singular and qualitative of Spain. The floral sensations in the bouquet and on the palate, strangely reminiscent of spikenard, are paired with fairly sweet fruits alongside hints of cocoa and toasted aromas. It boasts interesting, astonishing, incredible flavors of vegetables: vines sprinkled with thyme, licorice in particular, a wide variety of elements illustrated with a restrained and colossal expressivity next to its fine woody characteristics. Sweet, bitter, tannic… elegant and balanced.
100% tinta fina. The malolactic fermentation is done in new Allier oak barrels, where it then remains for a further 18 months before bottling in May of 2008. 1980 bottles. This wine is produced from a parcel of 1 hectare located on the winery’s property.
